Everette and Family – Oakland Family Photographer

As a Bay Area native I’ve driven by Lake Temescal probably close to 1000 times in my life. Yet, I have never been there. Whyyyy? Why has no one told me how gorgeous it is!?

We lucked out in late October with an amazingly beautiful day. The fall colors on some of the trees were breathtaking! It’s going to hurt to take color out of some of these for black and whites. Here are just a few of my favourites for the day.

Cameron – Brand New – Marin Newborn Photographer

It seems like it has been ages since I met Rachel and Christoper to work with them on their maternity shoot. I was starting to think that baby Cameron might never born! I was thrilled to meet with the family in their home, to photograph Cam at just 9 days old.

Emily and Family – Bay Area Family Photographer

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Emily and her parents. Emily, Emily, Emily…A little explorer. Such a happy little toddler, as long as she wasn’t being contained! Fascinated by every little leaf and rose petal. So happy to play with a stick or a rock. I just love the curiosity and innocence of 18 month olds.

Jody & Steve – SF Bay Area Maternity Photographer

When I saw the apartment number on Jody’s address I feared we’d be working in a low light situation. Imagine my delight when I walked into their gorgeous SF apartment to find an entire wall of floor to ceiling windows! It has been a long long time since I pulled out the black backdrop for some classic maternity photos. The windows provided the perfect lighting!
